The Piloti collection transposes APPAREIL Atelier’s architectural narrative into each object. The rhythm created by the repetition of the legs echoes the structural cadence of a building—both in its graphic presence and in its performance, reminiscent of a beam-and-column framework. Inspired by traditional joinery techniques in woodworking, the pieces are assembled purely through friction, minimizing the use of mechanical fasteners. Comprising a range of modules—with or without backrests—and featuring an integrated table, the design offers a flexible configuration that seamlessly adapts to a variety of environments.
