To meet the space needs of a couple and their three children wishing to live in the Plateau Mont-Royal, Appareil Architecture transformed a duplex into a single-family home. A dug-out basement and a rooftop mezzanine add up to four livable levels nestled in the heart of the city.
“The holistic approach to the built-in furniture allowed us to optimize the available space—so precious to the project—and to design living areas that are both functional and distinctive.”
Esther Leduc, senior interior designer at APPAREIL Architecture
