Tourist Welcome Pavilion Study

Rooted in close collaboration with the community of Chibougamau-Chapais, this project envisions more than just a building — it offers a living space for gathering, working, and sharing, inspired by the strength of the land and the people who call it home.

Born from dialogue with local stakeholders — both Jamésien and Cree — the concept proposes a contemporary architecture deeply anchored in the northern landscape. It highlights the quiet richness of the territory, from what lies beneath the earth to the forest above.
